This program fills text-files with consecutive prime numbers. Conventiently, if directed at a floppy drive, it will stop when the disk is full and then re-start when a new disk is inserted. This is very useful in cryptographic and number-theoretical applications that are sped up drastically by having prime-libraries already in existence instead of having to generate the primes themselves.
I keep a small file generated by this program on my desktop and quite frequently find it useful in number theory.
As far as I know there are no large publicly-available databases of prime numbers. Hopefully someone will use this program to generate something of that nature.
